The real purpose of the space, targeted and threatened by all the problematic and key points that arise when addressing its function, has led to the stage being the least present in its role. The broader context of the city center, the main location in the city, squares, administrative, cultural institutions, and religious buildings have suppressed and disrupted its function, making the space of the summer stage a forgotten and underutilized area. However, the one thing that remains unaffected and is the key element to the purpose of such a space is privacy, which is the starting point of our solution. Electric Ras with its landmarks, the Municipal building that directly borders the stage area on one side, and the Cultural Center, also in a cramped space and struggling for its own privacy, place the summer stage in an unsolvable situation. This is evident in the fact that the summer stage has become an abandoned and unknown space. Therefore, the first step in the design of the summer garden is to halt the destruction of privacy to give the space the opportunity to rise above all that surrounds it, together with the Cultural Center. The halting of the violation of privacy is achieved by placing events along the perimeter of the space. The platform, which forms a whole with the stage, is subordinated to the stage and defined by a grid pattern, thus bringing the focus to the space. The passage through the Municipality, which symbolically connects and “liberates” this part of the city, ties the summer garden to the city center. All together, it forms a functional whole, and with the shapes established by the concept, it creates a logical (liberated) unity with all its distinctive features. In this way, all paths are directed toward the stage, the significance of the summer garden is highlighted, and with it, the significance of the stage itself. Everything is subordinated to the summer garden space.
